Since the start of Human Afterall that I understood the project as the ideal place to experiment. The idea is always to push myself further and try different things in every video I make. However, sometimes I just feel like going personal and portraying little parts of my life. These couple of months, as I thought about the theme, I came across a life I one day lived: The Art of Moving.
I started practicing somewhere around 2005, a little while after it appeared in Portugal. I practiced up until 2009, having been, in part, forced to abandon due to several injuries I had at that time. It was one of the greatest times of my life. The thing I loved about it was that it allowed me to combine two of the most enjoyable things in my life: art and sports.
In Parkour/Free-Running, in order to perfect your movement, you have to train a lot; And when I say a lot, I really mean A LOT, like everyday basis. However, the really beautiful part of it is that what really makes your movement unique are your imperfections, your personal gifts. I think in a certain way, it's very similar to life itself.

Although many people see it as something related to power, rawness, etc ... for me it's just pure beauty. This video is a portrait of how I remember it to be.
Thanks to all my great friends from Line Team Traceurs for letting me use them to portray this."
